Reaksmey An
My name is Reaksmey An, I was born in a district called Kampong Trach, Kampot province. Because I like all forms of art and that is why now I am studying interior architecture because it includes everything of art in this major. I start to love shooting since I own my iPhone 5. I start to love taking pictures of everything and I enjoy the editing as well. I believe in each picture have its own meaning, its own reason why the photographer shoot it. It is many memories inside one picture.

“Sihanouk Train Station’’ / I shoot this picture during a trip to Sihanouk Ville in 2020. I myself realized that to get this kind of picture is not that easy. First I need to travel by train and secondly, I need to be quick because sooner the train will leave. This picture might not meaningful but the hard-work does.

“Fill-Up’’ / Gas station is where people fill up the gas but moreover it is where we take a break as well as our vehicle from a long way travel. In this picture you might see the café sign, it is where we fill- up our energy to continue the journey.

“Believe’’ / First I step into this old church on the top of Bokor mountain I realized that “ There is still a belief inside each person” as we can see the flower on the table, the decoration. It meant that people still visit and find their beliefs.

“Relegs’’ / Sometimes people need to take a break, need to take a moment to relax, to clean up the mess as well as when we walk along the beach will lot of fun but we might end up with a mess on our legs (feet) so we need to Relegs (clean) it to step in a new chapter of life.

“Sunset’’ / Sunset hour is a time of telling us that it is time to take a break after a long hour of hard-work. It’s like everything have it end. Like we can’t have a sun in 24h in a day and we can’t work-hard without take a break.
