“I am intrigued by common stories in which plots  revolve around folklores and the combination of  the traditional atmosphere as well as daily modern  lifestyle. I believe that small and hidden clues in the  story plots often inspire great ideas and storytelling.” 

I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer  based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Growing up in  a family that had no connection to art, I had put a  lot of effort to prove to my family that I can make a  living out of this field. I have been passionate about  art and begun drawing from an early age. 

Like every artist, I take inspiration from everything  that surrounds me. I love all forms of art including  those that are related to traditional ceremonies,  architecture, and culture. Those elements, which  show how people evolve from time to time, play a  very preponderant role in my artworks.  

My artistic journey started with me trying and  exploring a lot of different art forms and styles until  I find what I like. Along the way, I have learned  that your personal artistic style is not an object to  chase after nor a trend you can imitate other people.  I believe that what you have experienced and what  you like will influence your works because they will  motivate and inspire you. Eventually, your works  will showcase your unique artistic style and will be  recognized by other people.
